Books on my reading list this month
I’m back again with another book list! And how can it already by April?! This year is going by way too quickly… Next thing I know, it will be summer and then fall and then winter and then bam! 2017.
BUT back to the book list. I am a self-help/spiritual book junkie (not sure why – just love learning different ideas, philosophies, etc), so I find I have to make sure I add a few “fun” reads to my rotation so I don’t go absolutely crazy. I’m loving celeb autobiographies lately (Mindy Kaling is just a boss who happens to be super relatable), so I’m definitely including one in this month’s list.
The nerd in me loves learning anything new about the brain and habit formation. This book is awesome because it explains the science behind habits that affect every aspect of our lives!
Simply Tuesday by Emily P. Freeman
This is an inspirational read about taking time and calming down in the midst of chaos in everyday life.
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
I love Mindy Kaling. I loved her first book, and I know I will love this one.
Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
Um, the woman behind Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and more?! I’ll take her advice any day of the week.
May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein
Gabrielle is known for her positivity in life as well as her awesome meditation tips. I can’t wait to dive into this book of hers – I’ve heard amazing things!
How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are by Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, Caroline de Maigret, and Sophie Mas
How have I not read this book yet? I am all for finding out the secrets of the French lifestyle, so I have a feeling I will really enjoy reading this.
These are the books I’ll be reading this month! What reads have you been loving lately?
